We would like to thank everyone who came out to our Tails and Tales Pet Parade and Costume Contest.

A special thank you to John Russell and Jessica Kempter who took time out of their day to come out and judge the competition.

With fall in the air and the temperatures slowly creeping lower, here are some fantastic tips to help out our fine feathered friends.

This year the Pine Bush Library participated in the Great Give Back by providing donated goods to Equine Rescue Resource (Colleen & John) and Reclaimed Dignity (V and Nat). These rescues are small self-sustaining rescues that provide wonderful homes for displaced and rescued animals. We would like to thank all the patrons who donated items to the library for this program. 

We would also like to thank Becks Home and Garden and Tractor Supply for their very generous donations.   

Both recipients of the donated items were so appreciative of the kindness the patrons and businesses have shown by donating to The Great Give Back. 

The Pine Bush VFW, Post 5492 is selling bricks to add to the Memorial in Pine Bush Park. The bricks are 4″ x 8″ and will be engraved with the names of veterans who wish to purchase them. The bricks can have 3 lines with a total of 14 characters on each line. Spaces count as characters. The lettering will be 3/4″ tall. Each brick is $50.If you are interested please stop by the Pine Bush Library and pick up a form.

The Pine Bush Library would like to thank Jim Meany and the Orange Blossoms for coming down and showing us what a day in the life of a civil war solder was like.

The Southern Catskill Anglers Family fishing event scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled due to rain being forecast.
