The time has come to apply for the Orange County Youth Bureau’s Summer Youth Government Immersion Program!

The information provided in the application will be used to do our best to match youth to one of their top 3 requested departments, if possible.

Youth are asked to please take the time to submit a complete application that includes the details need to help with the matching process.

The County Executive’s Office, Office of Human Resources, and Orange County Youth Bureau will be offering positive, unpaid work experiences for local high school students, currently in grade 10 through graduating seniors who live and/or attend school in Orange County, NY.

Selected youth will be matched to county departments that have available volunteer opportunities.

Please note that slots are limited. Reliable transportation and a consistent time commitment are required.

*Completed applications are due back to the Orange County Youth Bureau, no later than June 2, 2023.
