The Pine Bush Area Library is now a proud member of the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum!

The Pine Bush Area Library is proud to share the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Family Passes with those families who hold current library cards in good standing. This pass includes the Wildlife Education Center open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 Noon – 4:00 pm with Saturday and Sunday programs at 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm.  The Wildlife Education Center is the home of many animals that can be found in our local woods, fields, ponds and rivers including rabbits, turtles, frogs, toad,s salamanders, snakes and fish. As well as, a screech owl, a great horned owl and of course, the crowd favorite, Edgar, the resident crow that says “hello”. Exhibits include live nature animals, special exhibits, a story walk.  For more info please call 845 534-7781.

The Outdoor Discovery Center & Grasshopper Grove  (The ODC)is located on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall.  Please note, the ODC entrance is on Angola Road – there is no access from 9W.  Please call 845 534-5506 for more info.  Most weekend programs are held at this location. Sorry, dogs are not welcome on the preserve! This facility is open Saturdays & Sundays 10:00 am – 4:00 PM  mid April through mid November.  Admission:  Museum Members are free.
